So, while I'm still seeking the time to work on my next poem...I still owe Tiara three more, so there'll be more to come...I was just wondering:

What's the story behind your nickname/handle?

I must confess, there are ones like =Kimpatsu's one that I have no idea about at all. :-) (I'll be posting my own story too, so it's not a one-way street.)

I wonder if you've moved to the states yet... O.o If so, I hope everything's working out for you. I'm going to China this summer so I'll speak some Mandarin for you!

And I learned two words in Cantonese: Mgoi and Duosie. Oh and I guess "bao" as in full because my Cantonese friend's parents try to feed me so much. :D

Ooohhhh!!! Congrats! :D Are you moving to Texas or any ideas?

I can totally understand on the time thing, too, no worries. I have very little free time between my work, my relationship, and school. ;) Life is pretty good, pretty busy though. We'll have to catch up sometime, maybe on AIM or something. :D

Not doing too bad, I guess...what happened since I last posted? Let's see, I visited the States, met Tiara, with whom I got on really well. Tiara came over to Auckland in June, we got engaged, and are planning to move to the States next year.... So, that side of things is all good. :-)

I haven't written any poems since, though! Between work (still mostly 10-hour days) and the relationship, both free time and creative space have been scarce. :-( So, apologies about the late response. (I have not caught up with my AML friends list for very, very long also.)

I hope your life has been doing well, too....

In so many ways, I'm so much like Tiara...so, by being as bad as each other, we have an excuse to spank each other all the time. (At the moment, it's all verbal, but once we meet up, I look forward to repaying all my debts for real. :P) In actuality, I really appreciate love poetry, so bring 'em on! :+devwatch:

Thanks! Yes, her name is Tiara (and I write a lot of poetry for her), and she's every bit as bad as me. :P She writes heaps of sentimental love poetry too, although hers are more intense/personal and so she doesn't post them publicly.

Oh! I just saw your story about how you met Dave and all that good stuff, and it's just so sweet how you put in all that effort to get his attention. And how it all paid off, too! :aww: I've promised (at least) a couple of people some sort of Tiara-and-Chris story, and after reading your story, I feel more motivation to get off my butt and start writing. :P

Thank you! My avatar is of the pendant I wear, Kat's Eye. It has a heart-shaped stone with a rose-shaped setting, and it means a lot to me...but then again, I'm an incurable romantic (I'd be the first to say that I enjoy writing love poetry), so what does one expect? :-)

Hahaha, I'll be posting new poems here too, but I have no intention of putting my entire collection here. :-)

The thing about lemonfingers I like is the collections system, allowing me to sort my poems into groups. It makes managing my collection much easier than on the other sites which host my poetry, so I thought I'd use lemonfingers to host my collection for as long as they want to.
